Handheld POS System
My client, an innovative POS company in the quick-service restaurant industry, approached me to design the user interface for a handheld POS device. Quick-service restaurants use the software to streamline order entry processes and enhance customer experiences. The goal was to create a modern and user-friendly interface that would improve efficiency and usability for both staff and customers.

Project Scope
This project's primary objective was to revamp a POS user interface into a fully functional Handheld Point of Sale (POS) software. The goal was to create a modern and user-friendly interface that aligned with the client's branding and improved the overall usability of the software. Key objectives included revitalizing the visual identity, enhancing usability, maintaining essential functionality, and ensuring responsiveness in a mobile format.

Design Process
The design process for this project followed a systematic approach, beginning with thorough research and analysis of the quick-service restaurant industry and the software's user base. This initial phase allowed me to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement. Following this, I created wireframes to outline the layout and structure of the new interface, providing a clear roadmap for the design. With the wireframes as a foundation, I crafted a visually appealing design that incorporated the client's branding elements while adhering to modern design principles.
Interactive prototypes were then developed to simulate user interactions and validate the design's functionality and usability. Rigorous user testing was conducted to gather feedback and make necessary adjustments. Throughout the project, I worked closely with the development team to ensure the accurate implementation of the design and the maintenance of the intended user experience.
